This summer, Reuben helped lead the "Arts Ignite Waterloo!" arts integration summer camp for ELL students in Iowa as Logistics Coordinator and Team Lead. Working with performing arts TAs and local educators, he helped students write and perform original musical plays while running professional development for the Waterloo School District's ESL department on arts integration activities.

His favorite memory from this year? "El señor Rubén nos enseño volar con palabras" – Mr. Reuben taught us to fly with words. This heartfelt message from a student at P.S. 84's mural celebration captures the magic of our two-decade partnership perfectly.
