Reuben is a multi-genre writer, creative writing teacher and ghostwriter. His children's fiction includes a dozen books in the iconic Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew mystery series for Simon & Schuster. His picture book, BOOK CROOKS, published by Random House and DC Comics, features another iconic hero—Batman!

Reuben teaches creative writing to kids of all ages, skill levels and abilities. In addition to private instruction and group workshops, he leads "Teaching Artist" residencies in public schools across NYC and beyond for a variety of arts education nonprofits. Reuben also works directly with schools to develop specialized curricula and teacher training. At the college level, he has guest lectured at Hunter College School of Education and Full Sail University.
